COVID-19 Sanitation Protocols
In an effort to maintain the health and safety of our clients and staff, and to comply with state mandates we are now asking that all pick-ups and drop-offs take place in the parking lot. To make this process most efficient we will adhere to the following protocols:
DROP-OFF/PICK-UP:

All pick-ups and drop-offs will continue to be at a prescheduled time, every 15 minutes during the drop-off/pick-up windows (7:30-9 am; 12-2 pm; and 5:30-6:30 pm).

NEW FEES: Early/Late arrivals for drop-off and pick-up will be accessed a $5 fee going forward. Scheduled times are set to maximize our time with your dogs and reduce our staffing costs.

All exchanges of your pets and their food/meds will occur in the parking lot.
PERSONAL ITEMS:

We ask that you leave all personal bedding and toys at home for the time being.

We will provide elevated cots for all dogs, plush beds for elderly dogs, blankets and toys as needed.

We ask that all of your pet’s items be unloaded and ready to be taken inside before you call us in an effort to minimize our time away from your dogs.
CALL US

We will sanitize all food/medication packaging as it comes in and food will be kept in airtight containers.

Call us at 509-960-0046 to inform us of your arrival when your pet is ready to come in.

FRB staff will come out to greet you and take your pet and their food/meds into the facility.
PPE/RISK MINIMIZTION:

Staff will wear appropriate personal protection equipment at this exchange

All clients are asked to wear a mask at the exchange of your dog(s) in the parking area

Staff will also ask that you retain your leash/collar/harness for pick-up and will use our slip leads to minimize the potential of passing the virus

Staff sanitize their hands before and after handling client belongings or wear gloves to further minimize the potential risk.
SANITATION:

As has always been our procedure, all suites are thoroughly sanitized between uses. We also wash each elevated cot and/or padded bed covering between uses.

Communal toys are washed frequently

Bowls for food and water are washed twice daily

Communal pools are emptied and rinsed daily.

Communal areas are washed/mopped daily.
