Here’s what you need to know before your dog’s first stay at Free Range Boarding:
Our goal is to be a safe, happy place for dogs to play, socialize, relax and rejuvenate while their owners are away. The information we gather during the intake process and the medical requirements allow us to do just that.
Not all dogs are well suited for boarding. We have set up our procedures to best evaluate your dog's appropriateness for our type of care. We do this to help ensure that your dog will be able to enjoy his/her stay at our facility. The health and safety of the dogs in our care is of the utmost importance to us, as we know it is for you.
We require up-to-date vaccination records for Rabies, Bordetella (every 6 months for intranasal or injectable/every 12 months for oral) and DHPP and a fecal test (including ova/parasites and giardia) every six months. All health requirements are for the health and safety of your dog as well as other dogs in our care. We recommend Leptospirosis vaccine due to deer in the area.

Medical Record Verification

Send us your dog's medical records. We require up-to-date vaccination records for Rabies, Bordetella* and DHPP, Flea & Tick Preventative* and a Fecal Test (for giardia/ova/parasites) every six months. All health requirements are for the health and safety of your dog as well as other dogs in our care.
*Oral Bordetella is accepted for 12 months; injectable/intranasal Bordetella accepted for 6 months; Flea/Tick Preventative given at manufacturer's recommended intervals

Evaluation
Prior to Stay
We will contact you to to schedule your dog's evaluation at our facility. ALL medical records must be verified before the evaluation.
There is a $25 fee (per dog) for evaluation.*
Please allow 30 minutes per dog.
*This fee will be applied as a credit toward your dog's first stay with us as long as your evaluation appointment is kept as scheduled and your dog passes evaluation. If your evaluation appointment is not kept or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice, your fee will be forfeited. If your appointment is kept, but your dog does not pass evaluation, your fee will be refunded at the time of evaluation.
